This choice: Actually she’s nice to you • Go Back...Chapter #23The Friendly Lemur Girl by: irven   You were worried about what this giant lemur girl was planning. But your fears disappeared as she smiled warmly and said, “You look like you could use some help. A tiny little guy all alone in the jungle... I bet you’re scared, huh?”
“Y-yes!” you shouted. “Yeah, I’m scared. I don’t know how I got here, or why everything’s so huge! Can you help me?”
“You’re lost... and you shrunk?” she asked in surprise. “Oh! I didn’t know that... Yeah, that really is weird! But I guess that just means you really, really need my help!”
“I do,” you said. “Thank you so much! What’s your name, by the way?”
“I’m YanYan!” the lemur replied. You told her your name too, and she nodded and crouched down.
“Alright,” she said, “lemme pick you up, and I’ll take you to my treehouse. It’s pretty close by. I’m living there while I train to learn Hachi-en-Ken.”
You had no clue what that meant, but you assumed it was some sort of fighting style, since she said she was “training” with it. You nodded and lifted your arms, waiting for the lemur to pick you up. Being grabbed by a giant creature was a frightening idea, but you trusted this girl.
The primate’s hand came down to grab you, and you stood still as her fingers wrapped around you tightly, then she stood up and lifted you off the ground. You became a bit dizzy from the fast movement, and gasped as you realized you were right in front of her huge face.
She looked at you with her big dark eyes, then smirked. “You’re a weird-looking monkey,” she said. “But you’re kinda cute, too.”
You blushed in response. You stammered, trying to not only thank her for the compliment, but also explain that you were a human instead of a monkey. YanYan just giggled at your reaction, then held you to her chest and began skipping along. You yelped and squirmed as you were jostled around, but the lemur giantess ignored it and continued on her way.
At least she was holding you tight enough that you didn’t slip out of her grip, though this was certainly a bumpy ride...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
