Yu gi oh is a famous card game that has undergone great evolutions throughout its history, from the rules to the card effects.
You were born in the 90s, you have loved this game since its birth, from the board game to the video games, to the cartoon. But everything has its beginning and its end, in this interlude comes the decline.
The first generation made almost your entire generation fall in love with the game. There is no Yu gi oh fan of your era who does not remember the most iconic monsters of the saga, for their design, for their powers or for their role in the story: Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, Blue Eyes White Dragon, Red Eyes Black Dragon, Jinzo, Kuriboh…
The GX saga was certainly not up to the first but still kept the spirit of Yu gi oh intact.
5ds, on the other hand, didn't make a good first impression, but after watching it again you re-evaluated it as beautiful, definitely a masterpiece compared to the sagas from Arc V onwards.
Zexal was a good story, even though you found some plot twists a bit inappropriate, the first season was better than the second. You noticed some similarities with the first Yu gi oh saga, to win over both old and new fans.
Then came Arc V, from Pendulum summons, to going around the arena to get extra cards, you asked yourself "What is this stuff?" And that was the moment when Yu gi oh didn't attract you as much as before.
You heard about Yu gi oh Vrains and Link monsters, you didn't understand much, but you saw a Link monster card and you saw that it didn't have DEF points, how can you play Yu gi oh without the DEF position?
You told some of your friends who were younger than you: "Yu gi oh ended up with Zexal!"
One day you found a card on the floor, when you turned it over to see it, a white light dazzled you, when you woke up you found yourself in a dark room lit by the blue light of the computer, you could hear the fast and continuous clicking of a computer keyboard. When you regained your sight you noticed that the computer was bigger than any screen you had ever seen. You saw the hands and they were so big that they could have crushed you as if it were nothing. Then you looked up and saw a beautiful face. It was Kari Tsukumo, Yuma's older sister. You ended up in the world of Yu gi oh.
