There were a lot of things you didn’t expect to see when you woke up.
First of them, was waking up on a grass field next to a forest.
Second of them, was waking up small. Like, “a blade of grass was taller than you by a healthy margin” small.
Obviously, as the naturally nervous person you were, you started to panic, not being able to help thinking of the many ways you could die. You almost started to run through the place like a headless chicken, if not for the fact that your brain was so drowned in alarm bells that it couldn’t choose a course of action.
You were in that situation, when you started to feel tremors. You started to feel the ground shake, which made you panic even more. What could possibly cause this? The most likely answer you could come up with was anything that could be a threat to you and your life. Thing is, you were paralyzed by the fear you were feeling, so you couldn’t move a muscle, as much as you wanted to. And the tremors started to get stronger…
Then you saw the source of the tremors. It was a gigantic girl, and not a normal one, either. She had brown hair in a bob-cut; yellow, amber-like eyes; a fit, slender body of a predator, yet with an inhuman allure, and well-endowed in the places that would catch the eye. But that was where the human likenesses ended; she had other noticeable traits: green antennae on her head, bug eyes on the sides of her forehead, chitin-like plates on arms and legs, and two green scythes on her arms, over that black piece of cloth that you could almost call a short dress because, while it covered the essential, it was dangerously close to revealing her most intimate place as well.
Like if someone fused a mantis and a girl, and she came out as the result.
The mantis girl looked around, like she was looking for something… or maybe someone. It was in that moment when your body decided to listen to your thoughts, and you tried to run away, trusting that your small body would let you go unnoticed. Alas, it was not to be.
The girl noticed you, and started walking towards you. Due to the size difference, she was actually gaining on you. No matter how much you tried to run, she was always close behind. You could swear there was a sway on her hips as she walked, too. Until, eventually, she caught you and picked you up, bringing you to her face, examining you like a rare happening.
