Your first thought of four teenage cheerleaders in a big, isolated house with no adult supervision would be throwing a huge party. In this particular case, you would be wrong. For one thing, Lana and her friends were good girls who wouldn’t do something like that. But more importantly, every neighboring farm would have noticed the string of cars heading down the gravel road to John and Annette’s place. There would have been a rush to see who could shut down the party first.
Instead, Lana made supper for her friends and her cousin. Lana’s friends made a fuss over her sweet cousin, who lapped up the attention.
Afterwards, Lana and her friends headed to the family room to binge watch their favorite series.
