This choice: The bandit goes back on his word • Go Back...Chapter #14The Bandit Betrays Little Lyn by: Marvusum The bandit shook the glass jar containing Lyn, knocking her over. He laughed as he saw the helpless heroine trying to get up. "Bahaha, look at how small and pathetic you are! Its time I take you to my mates and have a tiny bit of fun before we get rid of you." The bandit turned around and headed towards other bandits by a table with the glass jar in one hand.
"Dammit, no! He betrayed me, of course he did! Ugh, I should have never taken the deal." There was little time for Lyn to consider her options or get angry at herself. It wouldn't take long before the bandit would arrive at his destination. Looking around in a panic, she tried to look for any potential weak-points in the glass to try and break through that. But there were no such things, she was completely stuck. Regardless, the swordswoman unsheathed her sword and struck a specific spot several times in quick succession. After a few seconds of rapid slashes, all that was left were some faint scratches on the glass.
"Its no use... Okay, now what? I must wait for an opening and make a run for it. There is no way I can do them any harm at this size with my blade. Unless I can get up close to their faces and blind them by cutting into their eyes, I stand no chance." While Lyn was considering all her options, the bandit arrived at his destination. In which he proudly showed off the shrunken girl inside before putting the jar on the table. They all seemed ready to kill her with the expressions they had. A drop of sweat went down the side of Lyn's head. "This is bad..." she thought.
The bandit that had taken her opened the jar and looked inside. "Hehe, look at you all small and helpless. How about I make you even smaller!" It didn't take long for Lyn to see the bandit's other hand come closer to the jar as he and his fellow bandits chuckled. "No!" she screamed with a mix of fear and anger as the hand slowly opened, forcing the scared heroine to move away from the center of her prison as much as possible.
She was completely backed up against the glass. But as she looked up to the hand...it was empty. There was no shrink powder to be seen that would make her smaller. The bandits all burst out laughing in unison seeing how they were able to scare Lyn.
The bandit that had taken her laughed the hardest "Did ya see that?! The way she screamed and looked all scared bahahaha!" The skinny bandit standing next to him had tears in his eyes "That was a good one haha, serves her right!" With the third bandit with an eyepatch saying "Her scream was music to my ears! For all our men she cut down, she'll pay the price tenfold!"
Fury was building up inside of Lyn, not only did the bandit she made a deal with go back on his word. Now they're just toying with her like this. "They're completely insane... I'd give anything to cut them down right now. Ugh, I need to find a way out of this!"
But under all that fury that was building up inside of Lyn was genuine fear. The thought of shrinking any smaller terrified her. The last thing she wanted was to shrink out of existence, if that happened to her, nobody would be able to find her ever again.
Lyn inspected her surroundings as the bandits were still laughing with one another. Her heart was still beating fast from the "prank" the bandits just pulled. She looked up and saw that the jar was still opened. But it was relatively high up. But at the right angle and enough jump power, she might be able to grab into the ledge and climb out. "If I make it out while they are distracted, I have a shot at making it out of here... But if they catch me, I could be in even more trouble."
Not wanting to stick around and find out what other plans the bandits had for her, the trapped heroine sheathed her blade and saw that the giants were still busy with themselves. "Its now or never. Here I go!" And so the tiny girl used everything in her body to leap out of her glass prison. With adrenaline going through her body and being more determined than ever, she ran and jumped against the other side of the jar and jumped upwards.
Through incredible force of will and being quite athletic, she was able to reach the top with her hands. Without thinking much about it, she did her best to climb out. And after struggling briefly, she made it out.
Lyn did not hesitate to drop down and landed on both her feet. She turned around and saw the bandits had turned her way to look at her at the same time she looked at them. The bandits stopped laughing and immediately came for her. "Get her!"
Seeing three giants coming at her was in its own way quite terrifying, but this didn't stop the green-haired heroine from staying calm. Filled with determination, she sprinted away towards the edge of the table she was on.
A giant hand suddenly landed in front of the fleeing girl, which prompted her to unsheathe her blade in the middle of her sprint and jump at it to slash it. "Hya!" she yelled. It was a direct hit; the skinny bandit yelled out in pain and raised his hand as the sharp blade was able to make a small cut. Lyn did not slowdown in her escape attempt. Though, just as she was nearing the edge of the table, a large object from behind her pushed her down on her front and held her down. "Got you!" said the one-eyed bandit.
The tiny girl struggled in vain to get the giant hand off her. "Let...me...go!" she screamed. Immobilized, she tried to think about what was coming next and what to do. The weight of the bandit's hand was making it hard for Lyn to breath. Though it didn't take long for the bandit to partially move his hand and remove Lyn's blade from her. "You won't be needing this anymore, you little pest." The one-eyed bandit threw the sword into the jar that Lyn had just escaped from.
For the first time since she was shrunk, Lyn was now truly left defenseless. Getting it back now seemed impossible, and it seemed that the bandits were going to make her pay for her escape attempt. The bandit pinning her down made his hand into a fist, holding the now defenseless girl tight. Her head and shoulders were sticking out as she foolishly tried to get free. In response, the bandit tightened his grip forcing Lyn to give up. She was struggling to breath, with any more force and her bones might break one by one.
Fortunately, the bandit saw the pain Lyn was in and loosened his grip. Giving her a moment to catch her breath and pull herself together. "Why the hell did you let her keep her sword?!" the one-eyed bandit yelled at Lyn's original kidnapper. Who could only shrug, following it up with "Listen, getting her to comply wasn't easy. I didn't actually think she had it in her to try and escape."
Meanwhile, the skinny bandit was busy looking for a bandage to patch up his hand. Despite the cut not being all that deep or bleeding much. As the bandits started to argue with one another, Lyn could only helplessly look around.
While they were arguing, the one-eyed bandit got an idea. "Hey, what if we show the other ladies we captured yesterday what happens if they disobey us? I think I've seen enough of this pest!"
The wounded bandit nodded his head "Yeah! That bitch almost cut my entire hand off!" Who was then hit at the back of his head by the other bandit.
"Shut it, she barely scratched you. Any more whining and I'll make sure the boss will show you what its like to lose a hand."
"Anyway, lets go to the prisoners and really make an example of our little friend here." Hearing these words from the man that shrunk her and took her here both angered and scared Lyn. As the bandits started moving towards their destination, the captured heroine grit her teeth as she could feel the giant fingers that held her getting touchier than they were before. "Don't touch me you piece of-" she yelled, before being cut off. The bandit's grip was extremely tight within a second, making Lyn unable to breath and speak.
This lasted for a few seconds before the bandit loosened his grip again. Lyn was out of breath and gritted her teeth again as the bandit resumed fondling her body with his giant fingers. "Dammit...okay, I just need to endure this. I can still figure this out. There is still time!"
But it seemed that time was running out, the bandits had reached their destination. What Lyn saw in front of her angered her even more than she already was, there were others that they kidnapped. They were all adult women at normal size still, albeit bound by rope and gagged in their normal clothes.
The main bandit clapped his hands together to get the attention of the prisoners. "Ladies! We're here to demonstrate to you what will happen when we start selling you off to our buyers. Though we will also show you what happens after you disobey us or try to escape." He pointed towards his companion that held the tiny girl with an evil grin on his face.
The one-eyed bandit began showing off the shrunken Lyn by kneeling and showing her around like she was a pet. All prisoners were struck with fear seeing the tiny heroine. From Lyn's perspective, she could see that there was a mix of genuine sorrow and anger among the prisoners. Some had thoughts of defiance and wanted to help her while others were too scared to even consider helping her. But no matter what they thought, there was nothing they could do for her now.
But what were they planning to do to the tiny heroine? This was not something she wanted to find out, she felt determined to not only help herself now, but also the prisoners. But would the bandits even get the chance to make an example out of Lyn? Or does a miracle occur that buys her time? indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
