You make your way down the path marked carnival, excited to experience what the island has promised mixed with the atmosphere of the carnival. The path soon cleared up, before eventually you saw a circus like tent in the foreground, with a gate twenty feet in front of you.
You approached the gate, and it opened automatically, letting you in to the crowded festival of tourists and natives alike. You walked past a few tents, and towards the center of the carnival.
To your left there was a sign advertising the freak show, where all sorts of transformed individuals were sure to be hanging around, ready to scare you into submission.
Straight ahead was the main tent, where shows happened every hour, and they were never seen exiting quite the same.
To your right there was an assortment of carnival rides, from the ‘Cursed House’ to the ‘Changing Coaster’, all of which changed the riders somehow.
You took a deep breath of the air which smelled of cotton candy and funnel cakes, before heading off to
