"One.Another spin. And tap and tap and tap." Lana mumbled to herself in her studio's empty space. It was six-fifty in the morning, but Lana loved the adrenaline early morning wakings brought. The sun's ray barely beamed through the studio's window. It filled her body with an almost calming sense.
Here was Lana Armstrong, one of the world's top dancer, able to emulate most styles. A prodigy in her early age, through vigorous training she had become the figure she was today.Along the way she had managed to get a small class of over twelve students to teach. Her current early morning session was due to the fact she was to be in the country's biggest dance competition in two week's time. So Lana did her best to divide her work between her students and herself.
"And another one and another spin." She mumbled once again. Her thoughts were occupied with what she'd bring to the show. True, she was good, but who'd she be facing off against some tough competition. The least of which was her friend/rival Elizabeth Rayleigh.
"What can I do to overcome her?" Lana thought as she did a split. Her spandex briefly disappeared between her cheeks. She scratched her chin in thought as she did some poses on the floor.
