You are a guy named Anon. You acquired a remote that could allow dimensional travel, but required a Television as a portal.
You entered a few Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies cartoons, as well as a few different series, like Daria. When in the cartoon world, your body followed physics of the cartoon. If in Looney Tunes, you could reach behind yourself or into a hat and pull out anything. In cartoons that were more realistic like Daria, reaching for something out of sight resulted in you pulling out nothing but air.
The remote did allow you to warp reality in any cartoons. You did fear what might happen if you bent the rules too far, though.
You fancied having a harem, but knew that a series's own internal rules would try and prevent it. After all, if someone tried to break up a couple with the intention of making one of them into their lover, it always ended in failure.
So you tested something. In several different cartoons, you played a harmless prank on the Hero and the Villain. In the beginning of the series, the prank succeeded on the hero without anything backfiring on you. Any prank played on the villain, regardless whether it succeeded or not, resulted in the villain trying to kill you.
Playing the same prank on the hero or the villain at the end of the series? The hero had a chance to make the prank backfire on you, regardless whether it succeeded or not. It didn't even matter if you allowed them to remember you or not.
As for the Villain, the prank succeeded and had a good chance at going beyond what you intended.
So you took that as a sign that as soon as the Villain was no longer relevant to the plot, they lost any protection of the series's plot, perhaps the plot even allowed you to do whatever you wanted to the villain to punish said villain.
So after much pondering, you thought, 'Might as well make a harem of evil ladies. There was a trope of 'Evil is sexy', after all.'

Odalia Blight was in a park and glared at the divorce papers in her hands. She had wanted to maintain the image of the Blight family in high society, regardless of what said family actually wanted. She had tried to ally with the Collector to remake the Boiling Isles in her image, only to wind up a servant to an overpowered child.
Now she lost everything. Her family, her business, even her position in Society.
She stood up, crumpled up the papers, and tossed them into the trash. Walking in a random direction, he sighed, "I wonder what other indignities will come my way?"
A voice from behind her said, "I can think of one that we might both enjoy."
Odalia gasped in surprise as she turned around, barely seeing a beam hit her. As she fell to her knees, she felt strange energies flow through her body, changing anything and everything. Sometimes it felt painful, sometimes overwhelmingly pleasurable. With a hateful glare, she spat, "What did... you... do to me?"
You walked into her sight and smirked. "I'm giving you a new purpose, Odalia Blight. You'll be traveling with me from world to world, helping me gather other women who are like you into a harem."
Odalia felt her bosom firm up a little bit, perhaps even expand. "You.. could have... simply offered me that deal. You didn't need to... do that to me."
You leered at Odalia's wiggling rear as you walked up to her. After getting on a knee, you gently held her chin to make her look up at you. "Then let's make it a deal of sorts. You'll get pleasure and power by serving me. In return, I get your servitude."
"That's... not a deal. I refuse," Odalia uttered as she felt her lips expand.
You laughed a little bit before you said, "Oh, I agree. It is quite a punishment for someone as wicked and power-hungry as you. You're going to be a slave, my slave. The only difference is that if you're willing to accept, you get to keep your free will. You'll even get to keep anything you find interesting. Try to renege on the deal or betray me... It'll be the same as you refusing my offer. You lose your free will and part of your mind gets rewritten to love and worship me. Regardless of whether you accept or not, it will be sealed with a kiss."
You began to lean in closer to Odalia, who found her lips puckering on their own.
You smirked for a moment before your lips met hers.
