You didn't know what to expect would happen once you hit the confirm button. Would there be, like a poof? Or a shimmer of reality changing? Maybe you would watch the world shift around you somehow. But how could you know? Was something going to happen that would actually confirm this swap occured?? How did would you know if this crazy thing worked?
And now that everything was confirmed, there was no poof, no shimmer, no melting of one reality into another. Things seemed the same... and for a split second, you wondered if it actually worked. You didn't really feel any different...
At the exact moment of that thought, you suddenly felt something around your neck. You brought your hand up to it, and felt something... a thick leather... wait, were you now wearing...
Looking down, you confirmed your brand new suspicions. You were now wearing a red colored, leather dog collar, complete with a tag that read "Michael" along with your address and your mom's cell phone number. Well, at least you confirmed that you could still read. But why did you have a collar? You didn't switch anything like clothes that would cause a collar to appear on you, right? So... this was somehow part of the personality swap?
You wondered if you should take the collar off, knowing that you had the mental capacity to do so, but started to think it was best to keep it on. One, because you really wanted to take in all elements of this new reality and if that included this collar so be it. And two, your mother would probably scold you if you took the collar off, and the thought of your mother being disappointed in you sent a strange shiver up your spine. It was the worst possible thought in the world.
Otherwise, besides the collar, you felt not that different... maybe a bit more energized? You felt like you needed to move around, you needed to... explore for a bit. At the very least, you wanted to see how people reacted to you now, and a thought in the back of your head suggested that you wanted people to see you as a "good boy..."
As you started to walk, your tongue suddenly fell out of your mouth, and you began to pant, almost as if it was a second nature instinct. You wondered why you had started to pant like that, considering with actual dogs it was a means of cooling down, but still, for the moment, you couldn't help yourself. You continued to pant, your collar jingling with every step, as you looked to see what the world was like for you now.
