Alas, he was overheard by a great power, and made to live up to his beliefs. While he was admiring the well-tailored business suit that he wore. Glorying in the deal he'd just made. His opponents defeated in the deal, and outplayed by his brilliant manoeuvres. He's just outside the meeting room where he made the deal.
Reality rippled about Jack, he steadied himself against the nearby wall. Making it a casual act as he hid the momentary weakness by adjusting his tie.
Blinking aside the blurry tears, he hated that sign of weakness. But, it was two professional woman who swam back into focus.
Their arms crossed, their disapproval very evident.
"We don't agree to this deal." The gorgeous one in the blue suit told Jack.
"Okay, we can renegotiate." Jack answered, sure he'd best them again. There was a disquieting air to their confidence, and Jack didn't remember these two women. He coughed and cleared his throat, the words hadn't quite carried the same weight and confidence as usual. In fact, they sounded feminine. Caressing your throat, he made a horrific realisation. He was a she... Worse, she was more feminine than them. Catching the half-reflection in the glass covering the painting, it was a gorgeous woman who blinked back at him in bimbo confusion.
You realise your sharp business suit is gone, your outfit far from appropriate. The sequins glitter like your lips. The reason for their contempt obvious, as you look grossly unprofessional. Hell! You look like a secretary who got where she is by flaunting her abundant charms....
