Dr. Jason and Sandra Jones were afraid for their Aiden's life. With so many break-ins, robberies, and experiments gone horribly wrong involving STAR Labs and its faithful employees, the Joneses were convinced that Aiden would be in danger of being kidnapped and held for ransom. After all, since Aiden was conceived at the size of an adult pinkie finger, he would be easy pickings for any villain who wants to use him as leverage for their dastardly schemes.
The Joneses ultimately decided to hire a nanny to watch over Aiden, to protect him and nurture him while they were away at work or some other important business. Since the exploits of Aiden's tiny size made the national headlines and made the baby an instant Internet celebrity, it made sense that they'd hire a female superhero(es) to watch over him and protect him from anyone trying to take advantage of his size to use as a bargaining chip.
When the superhero was first introduced to baby Aiden in his tiny form, she felt a certain maternal instinct kick in, since the baby was so adorable and innocent. Several months had passed, and the hero spent her free non-working hours to watch over Aiden, playing with him and attending to his needs. In case of any emergency, the hero would call upon another female superhero and gave her specific instructions to follow to fulfill the tiny baby's specific needs.
For the next several years, the hero raised Aiden like her own son. With the help of the other female superheroes, the nanny discovered Aiden’s meta-gene ability of high physical endurance against pressure and digestion to compensate his tiny size. A few instances of this occurred when they accidentally stepped on him, sat on him when they weren't looking, and even swallowing him when he crawled into their mouths. These were accidents to be sure, but the female superhero helped train Aiden to focus more on his gifted abilities and use them for good.
Depending on the story routes, Aiden’s life as a tiny bug boy under his giant maternal figure's watch is either happy, loving, and naïve, or is strict, boring, and overprotective. His role as a hero or a villain in the making is ambiguous.
The only question is, who is Aiden's nanny and mentor(s)?
