Lincoln was hit by a laser beam from Lisa's device and watched as everything around him suddenly increased in size. He quickly became aware of what was happening once he saw the floor of Lisa's room get closer to him. "I'm shrinking!" He shouted, but due to his diminishing size, his voice shrunk with him and the girls couldn't hear him.
He just kept getting smaller and smaller until the beam finally disappeared. Lincoln saw everything around him from a new perspective, Lisa's bed, Lily's crib, the furniture, and even the green carpet fibers on the floor were bigger than him now. He estimated that he must've been reduced to the size of an ant as the carpet fibers seemed to reach up to his waist.
The girls recovered from the sudden shock of the beam and opened their eyes. But once they did, they were shocked to see that Lincoln had suddenly disappeared from where he once stood. They all gasped. "What happened to Lincoln?!" Darcy exclaimed.
Lincoln covered his ears from the sound of a very loud, booming voice. "Ugh, what was that noise?!" But Lincoln had bigger things to worry about now, much much bigger. He felt the ground shaking and fell on his back. He tried to move around and find somewhere to get his head together, but he just kept falling over again and again.
Lincoln collapsed on the ground and tried to get back up, but then he saw a large shadow falling over him. Fearfully, he looked up and dropped his jaw once he saw what casted the shadow. It was almost like a gigantic, white meteor that was about to land on top of him. Lincoln quickly got out of the way just in time before it impacted with the ground, but the impact pushed him far away from the 'meteor'.
Once he got a closer look at it, he looked up and gasped at what it really was. "Darcy?!" To Lincoln's shock and horror, he saw the gigantic form of Darcy Helmandollar towering miles above him.
What was once a sweet, adorable, little, four-year-old girl to Lincoln was now as big as a skyscraper. That also meant that the big 'meteor' that almost crushed Lincoln was actually her shoe. Lincoln realized that Darcy almost squashed him like a bug, and didn't even know it.
Darcy looked in shock at the spot where Lincoln was standing and turned back to the others. "Lisa, you made Lincoln disappear!" Darcy shouted, and Lincoln covered his ears from the volume of her voice.
Lincoln stood right next to Darcy's giant, white sneaker and saw just how tiny he really was when he saw that he barely reached up to the rim of her shoes. "Darcy! I'm right here!" Lincoln shouted, but Darcy couldn't hear his minuscule voice. "I didn't disappear, I shrunk! HELP!" His cries fell on deaf ears as Darcy still didn't respond to him.
"No Darcy, Lincoln didn't disappear!" Lisa corrected. But Darcy grew angry with her, showing that she didn't believe the young genius.
"Then what happened to him?" Charlotte asked.
"My machine is a teleportation ray." Lisa answered, much to their shared confusion. "Lincoln is fine, he's just someplace else now." She explained, but Lincoln facepalmed, knowing she was wrong.
"So, Lincoln's okay?" Darcy asked and Lisa gave the nod. "Okay. Then we can wait for him to come back?"
"Of course, Darcy." Lisa replied before she started walking over to Darcy, with Charlotte right behind her. Lincoln felt their footsteps as they walked up to Darcy, which increased his fear tremendously. He was now surrounded by three gigantic four-year-old girls who were unaware of his presence.
He now felt like nothing but an insect to them and they had no idea that they could accidentally squash him flat at any time. "Now, I believe I owe you two a play date." Lisa said. Darcy and Charlotte cheered while Lincoln stood on the ground. He didn't know how he was going to get out of this mess alive while avoiding getting squashed by them.
What happens next?
