Peter was still trying to think of an idea on where to go that he started walking close to the walls of his room. Even though it was already pretty late here he knew for certain that some people, including himself, tended to stay up even in the most unreasonable hours. Unfortunately he'd shrunken out of his clothes, so it'd take a while to even make it to someone, even if they were just outside his room.
'Guess I'm just gonna have to take my chances and crawl out of here.' He thought when he saw the door far away from him. He took a step forward, then felt something strong started sucking him towards the source. 'What the-? Oh no!' He turned his head too late before he was torn off his feet and pulled straight towards a nearby ventilation grate.
His tiny stature allowed him to slip in between the metal bars of the grate without any harm, but it made it much easier for him to spiral into the dark but spacey ducts. Without his web-shooters, he couldn't launch a web and stop himself from going further and further, lost in a maze connected to what might be the entire mansion. His screams didn't echo, and it didn't matter if his voice was enough to be heard when he was flung all over the place.
The ride eventually came to an end rather suddenly, his vision becoming difficult to see clearly until he crashed into something. The tiny Peter was knocked unconscious, and the night continued on as if nothing happened. Hours slipped away until the sun rose up to the sky over the school like the many days before this. Everyone was bound to wake up and prepare for the new day.
As for Peter, where did he end up when he started to wake up?
