The streets of Tokyo were lit by the beautiful lights of street lamps, the only sounds in the air were the meowing of stray cats and a continous snapping noise.
The snapping came from three men, as they walked out of a dark alley they snapped their fingers in perfect synchronization before twirling and jumping with choreography that must have been practiced for days on end.
These three men were: Boss Dandy, the charismatic leader. Yantaro Nishimura, the large brute who may have been slow on the head but had a big heat. And Velo Takeda, the short Brazilian with the squeaky voice.
These three formed the Dandy Gang, a group of Yakuza who strolled the streets of Tokyo every night. Very few in the city took the Dandy Gang seriously, as they spent most of their time doing petty crimes such as various dine and dashes or jaywalking.
At some point though, the Dandy Gang's criminal activities had amassed enough money to buy a boat! This was a dream for Boss Dandy, as he finally felt like a true crime boss with status.
That was until...the incident. Boss Dandy had walked away from the boat for a few mere minutes to buy some candy and within that few minutes an absolutely evil little girl had stolen his boat!
By the time the Gang recovered the boat it was damaged beyond repair. The roof had somehow been ripped off and the engine had literally exploded after some strange mechanic meddled with it.
If it were any normal person, Boss Dandy would have set out to get revenge. However, the little girl turned out to be a member of Tokyo's very own Flower Division. Boss Dandy loved the Flower Division and made sure to reserve front row seats to all of their shows! He couldn't risk ruining a show by threatening one of their actresses.
Still, be needed some compensation! He loved that boat! At first he tried to demand that the theater pay for the damages Iris caused, but they refused on account of him being a Yakuza. Which was probably fair, but he wasn't happy about it!
As the Dandy Gang danced across Tokyo at night, they soon ended up at the street across from the theater. "Say, What're we doin' here, boss?" Velo squeaked out.
As Boss Dandy began to explain, he performed dance moves between every sentence "If the Flower Division won't pay for my boat with money. They'll pay in some other way. Until we have enough for a new boat. They'll have to be the new Dandy Gang!"
As Boss Dandy performed his strange dance, he felt a strange power build up in his body. Before coming to the theater he had found a strange dance book at a pawn shop, this book claimed to have a dance with strange magical effects. It's name was...
"Swap...cha...cha!" Dandy performed his grand finishing move. As soon as he finished the pose the souls of the three Dandy Gang members left their bodies, flying toward three actresses who were just returning to the theater after a long night.
Which three characters did the Dandy Gang swap bodies with? indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
