The sun shone brightly in the sky, slightly masked by the many leaves which hung from the low hanging branches of old tree's. Akame and Mine walked together through the forest, Najenda accompanying them as they headed towards a lake for their daily training.
Mine huffed in irritation, crossing her arms, which caught the attention of the silver haired leader, "What's wrong Mine, annoyed you can't hang out with Tatsumi?" Najenda teased, which caused Mine to blush heavily while vigoursly denying it, "No, of course not! Tatsumi is super awesome for escaping that ice bitch, but it's not like I would do that or anything..."
Akame stared at the sun peeking through the many leaves of the forest, slightly chuckling at the flustered comments from her fellow night raid member; though the laughter was soon directed towards her as the 2 other girls collectively heard a large stomach growl coming from Akame's general direction.
Najenda laughed light heartedly, remembering how Night raid left early for training so none of the members could eat a proper breakfast; Lubbock was out on guard duty, while Leone was practicing with her Tiegu outside, she wanted to train with Lubbock, however he nervously denied, and obviously tatsumi was too tired to train, so nothing could be done, Leone had to train by herself to her dismay.
Najenda's thought process was interrupted as she spotted the lake the three girls would always visit for training; birds pearched on top of high hanging branches and chirped their morning whistle, algae and other forms of dirt and grime present in the lake, etching itself on top of the few lilypads or simply residing in the dirty water.
Najenda wanted to relax a bit, maybe enjoy the calming scenery of the dirty lake? However, Mine quickly grabbed pumpkin and egged Akame on for a challenge, "Alright Akame, last time we trained you gave me a pretty gnarly injury, don't expect that to happen again!" As she said this, she fired multiple shots out of her imperial arm, though it was left ineffective as Akame sliced all of the bullets in two with Murasame.
Najenda sighed, they did come here for training after all, no point in admiring the scenery.

Tatsumi laid flat in bed, clutching the side of his stomach as he groaned in pain, he could still remember how he got that nasty scar there, "Esdeath...I could sense some sort of good in her, I wonder if it would've truly been impossible for her to change her ways, maybe if I had stayed a little longer..." quickly, the brunette slapped himself in the face, remembering the injury in his stomach.
Flashback:
The sadistic giggle of a maniac general could be heard as her long blue which reached her ankles bounced and swayed with each laugh, she stared with lust filled eyes at her beloved, all chained up and helpless.
"Esdeath please....I want to see my friends again." The assassin begged, his head hanging low, only being able to bring himself to stare at the cracked floors of the capitals tortue dungeon, or Esdeath's dungeon more like it.
Esdeath slowly walked closer to the boy, bringing her finger out to lift the brunettes chin slowly, "No, and that's 50 lashes for mentioning night raid, didn't I already tell you not to do that?"
Tatsumi could only scrunch his face in pure cringe at the images of him getting lashes, it was everywhere, esdeath made sure to use her 50 correctly, no part of his body was spared, not even his privates...
He futilely begged, "please, please, anything but that! I'll love you, I'll kiss you, please just don't do that..." a desperate plea escaped his lips as he finally stopped staring at the ground, instead looking the ice general straight in the eyes with water seeping out.
"Oh tatsumi, I loves kisses, but I think I prefer whipping you, sorry! Though, if you're willing to offer something more, I'll hear you out..." the beautiful general put a hand over her lips, concealing her smile, even if Tatsumi did offer something more, she was still going to do the lashes either way, she simply enjoyed it far too much.
Suffice to say, Tatsumi did get the lashes that day, and it hurt the most on his stomach.
End of flashback:
Tatsumi shuddered at the memory, but at the very least, he was remembering it instead of looking forward to it; the memory instantly made him lose his sympathetic side towards the ice General.
"I need to get my adrenaline pumping after that..." the brown haired assassin commented as he slowly got out of bed, clutching his stomach in an attempt to soothe his pain, which desperately sought his attention, sorta like Esdeath.
Despite the constant lectures he recieved from his fellow assassins regarding how imperative it was for him to stay in bed and rest, especially the ones from Mine which would frequently turn into her full on yelling at him if he even wanted to get up and train, he couldn't take it anymore; staying in the soft bed of Night raid HQ, despite being far better and less mentally depriving, reminded him all too much of his time as Esdeath's, "pet" where he could spend all day either in the dungeon or shackled to her bed.
He needed to train again, as it had been months since he last did so, maybe he'll sneak out of Night raid HQ and slay a danger beast or two; though that would require him to be careful, he heard Lubbock was guarding the front entrance.

The early morning sun peered through the window of the sadistic ice general's room, illuminating the ground and walls in an elegant yellow hue, however despite this scenery, the owner of the room was not pleased in the slightest.
She laid on her bed flat on her back, spreading her arms and legs engulfing the entire area of the king sized bed, making it painfully obvious she wanted Tatsumi back in this exact bed, so she could share the massive space it provided.
"You imbecile, why did you have to escape, didn't you know you were all I had?!" The blue haired woman screamed into her pillow in a rare showcase of vulnerability, tears threatening to escape the confines of her eyes, just like how Tatsumi escaped the confines of the palace...
Realizing the futility of her actions, as well as not wanting to be seen as weak for crying, Esdeath quickly got off the bed, looking out the window and seeing the sun shining, illuminating the entire capital with its violent yet beautiful glow; the spot of her room provided a beautiful scenery, letting her view the entire capital as the sun peered over the horizon, brightening the many houses.
Violent yet beautiful, she always thought Tatsumi viewed her that way, what did she do wrong? She always knew he disliked her violence, but it was how she was raised, she was taught that it was either kill or be killed, shouldn't a warrior of Tatsumi's caliber understand that?
Could she really change for her lover? Her ideologies were unimportant if Tatsumi disliked them, the main question was, would she be willing to change them for him...?
This was the question that rang through Esdeath's mind as she quickly got changed into her usual attire.
-
"Oh shit! I might've fucked up when I decided to go train instead of resting!" Tatsumi thought as he ran away from a peculiar danger beast, it was grayish in color with spikes pertruding from its stomach, and it didn't seem to possess any abilities, though due to his injuries, that didn't really matter anyway.
What's worse was that that he didn't even have enough energy to use incursio, more specifically summon the armor, he tried fending the beast off with incursio, however that didn't work.
As he was running back to HQ, hoping to find Lubbock so he could help him with the danger beast, he suddenly felt a pain ring through his head, it was so strong that he stopped running to massage his temples.
At the same time, Esdeath all the way back at the palace clutched her head with the same pain, the two yelled in unison as a bright flash only visible to them emanated and slowly dissipated, when it was fully gone...
Esdeath pov:
What was that just now? It better not have been some sort of prank from one of my soldiers, I'll see to it that they get tortured to death if that's the case.
"Hmm, what is that?" I wonder as I hear a growl behind me, it was a rhetoric question, obviously I knew it was some danger beast ready to die, I was just getting a little crazy without Tatsumi.
Wait, my chest feels weird...
As I thought that, the gray danger beast leaped towards me, I swiftly killed it with one hand, not bothering to look at its bloody contents that surely spilled out from the death.
"Wait, I recognize those clothes from anywhere, I'm...Tatsumi???" I say as I stroke his beautiful brown locks.
Third person pov:
Suddenly, a sadistic grin entered, "tatsumi's" face, not only would this be an amazing opportunity to gather information about Night Raid and the revolutionary army, but it could also be used to sabotage them and break their trust, maybe she could walk up to Najenda and tell her she's working for the empire as a spy, permanently destroying the trust Tatsumi had built and forcing him to come back to her, the one he belongs to.
But firstly...
She walked in the direction Tatsumi was facing, assuming that was where Night raid HQ was located, and surely enough, she encountered it along with a green haired man guarding the entrance.
She was disgusted at the sight of a night raider, however she hid it to not make him suspicious.
"Tatsumi, what the hell man, didn't we tell you to rest? Do you want to go back to Esdeath?! I know she's hot but Mine would kill me for letting that happen!" The eccentric young man screamed, to which Esdeath couldn't contain a grimace, only her tatsumi could compliment her like that.
Not caring about being suspicious, she made up some sort of lousy excuse as to why she left, quickly entering Tatsumi's room for a little, "fun"
