Had took a few minutes to adjust his patrol car but eventually he was able to fit into it.
"They just don't build cars for real men," Dell joked to himself and slapped his thick muscle gut. He wondered how much longer he would be able to do his job. He was growing at an unprecedented rate and they can only make cars so big.
Dell arrived at the precinct and found a spot out front and headed in the front door. He could hear that someone was telling at Sterns who was once again working the front desk.
"We've been waiting here for 15 God damn minutes for this detective, is he even here?!" exclaimed a man while his wife looked like she wanted to pull him back and calm him down.
"So, you will wait for him, even if it take another 15 minutes," Dell said loudly using his deeper tone to project authority as he walked closer," The detectives here work hard and if they're running behind its because they want their facts straight before they tell you the wrong thing."
"Y-You.. You're right sir," the man apologized," It's just.. my baby girl has been missing for three days."
"We know the stress, believe me," Dell said leaning up against the counter," Every time a missing person report goes out we try out best to find them. Sometimes we have to deliver bad news, sometimes we need a few minutes before we see the people attached to the next case. You will be helped."
"Thank you," said the wife and the two took a seat on the opposite side of the table.
"Harrison, is that you..?" asked Sterns looking up in awe.
"Yeah kid, outgrew my uniform," Dell joked and ran his hand down over his gut.
"You.. you look amazing," Sterns said still admiring Dell.
"Thanks kid, let me know if that guy causes you any more trouble.
"Yes sir," Sterns nodded.
Dell headed to the uniform closet. Along the way he felt like the whole world had shrunk a bit. His head was a lot closer to the tops of doors. His shoulders were getting close to filling the door frames. Even the door knobs felt small. When he reached the closet he knew it felt a lot smaller today than it did nearly a week ago and dug through the clothes. He knew that George had to wear some big shirts so there should be something for him to wear in there.
After a few minutes Dell found a shirt, pants and boots to wear. He also found the next size up and wondered if they would even fit tomorrow with the rate he was going.
Dell made his way to his desk and when he entered the office a quiet hush fell over the room as they watched Dell strut over to the desk.
Dell could hear a few whispers..
"Is that Harrison?"
"Whoa, did he get mega protein shots?"
"He wasn't that big last week, was he?"
"So... Do anything over the weekend?" Jack asked looking over from his desk and sneaking a peek at Dell.
"Oh, you know," Dell said nonchalantly," Grew eight inches taller and put on about a hundred pounds." Dell followed that with a few pats to his gut then asked," Do you know how to put in a vehicle transfer? I am afraid I am going to outgrow my own."
Jack just stared gobsmacked and repeated," Eight inches and a hundred pounds?"
"Yeah," Dell nodded and started to search the precinct's computer homepage for the vehicle transfer and clothing ordering pages.
"H-how?" Jack asked flabbergasted.
"Not sure, apparently I am the man of this one guy's dreams," Dell said," Been growing since I've been fucking him."
"Like for real?" came in the sleazy tone of Jacobs, the fifty year old slim detective who looked like he's been smoking three packs a day for his whole life.
"Yeah, eating big too," Dell added in rubbing his power gut fondly and wondered what Jason was going to cook up for dinner tonight.
"Are you bigger than George now?" Jack asked motioning over to the fat older timer on the opposite side of the room.
"Easily," Dell said confidently without even needing to look.
"You sure about that...?"
Who said that?
