Melona gets larger and more powerful the more c...

Melona continued to eat, going from one chip at a time to two, then three, carelessly wiping her greasy fingers on Drif's clean sheets. She wasn't even that hungry, but for some reason every time she ate Melona would feel a pleasant tingle in her chest, one that seemed to get stronger the more she ate. It made her feel even more confident and capable, although she needed to re-adjust her seating position, her clothes feeling a tad less comfortable on her. Unconsciously, she tugged her skirt down as it seemed to have rode up on her waist a little. She reached back into the bag, feeling nothing but crumbs inside. She clicked her tongue in annoyance, she wasn't done eating yet!

"You're out." Melona said, sitting up on the bed, leaving behind the open bag. "Got anything else?"

"Uh, not really." Drif said, rubbing her neck. She didn't usually stock up on much food, that just took up space she could be using to store potion ingredients. Even the chips hadn't been bought to be eaten but for an unrelated experiment she had done earlier in the week. It should've been practically full, but Melona had finished it in a matter of minutes!

"Of course." Melona sighed, rolling her eyes, "How do you have an ass that big when you barely eat?" She stood up and leaned forward, poking Drif's plush thigh, making the alchemist jump a little in surprise. She was so surprised, that she almost failed to notice two small lumps dangling down from Melona's chest as she leaned forward. Were those there before???

"Well I'm getting something to eat." Melona stated, "So either come with or give me some money, 'cause I'm broke."

Drif balked. That was the last thing she had ever expected to hear, even with Melona acting as strangely as she was. It's not like Drif was unaware of Melona's financial situation, and she had several times in the past offered to lend money to her friend, but every time she did Melona had fervently turned her down. Drif thought that her pride was self-defeating, if she needed money she should just take it, but it had become clear that it really bugged Melona to the point where Drif had learned it was better not to offer unless it was a serious emergency. So Melona asking her for money was almost inconceivable, especially as flippantly as she had. It made Drif feel tempted to say no, after all Melona had been extremely rude to her for no reason since the moment she woke up. But she also wasn't sure about leaving her friend unattended right now. Even if it meant some time away from her verbal abuse, where she could investigate what was wrong with the potion.

"Well? I'm waiting."

Drif frowned, Melona's rudeness bugging her even more when she had been trying to think over her options. Still, it probably would be best to give an answer quickly, so Drif decided to...
