The TV Show Friends had six adults living in New York City, in apartments they could never afford, but that is besides the point, and their lives with one another. During the course of the series, many of the main characters would hook up with each other in various ways, apart from Pheobe, surprisingly.
So this pathway might as well expand on the hookups. Let's, for the moment, stay away from the two main couples that were in the series, Chandler/Monica, and Ross/Racheal, and focus on one of the Friends hooking up with another or even someone else in the series. The easy choice for this is the Character Joey, who was the resident 'playboy' and had multiple girlfriends over the course of the show. None of which lasted that long, but there was also the running joke of Joey and Chandler getting into situations which were a little homoromatnic in nature, which were played for laughs. Or there was that one episode where Ross and Joey found that by snuggling together, they got some of the best sleep in their lives. So there are countless paths of both gay and straight storylines to choose from.
