I really like the premise and the general structure of this piece. I enjoyed the classic superhero origin story elements to it, and the way that you layered different fantasy elements into it like the appearance of mythical creatures.

I do think it was a lot of expository information to present to the reader all at once; it almost required an "info dump" approach where you're just summarizing the backstory for the reader, and I think there's an opportunity to expand this piece a bit and give the reader a lot of this information a little at a time, so it feels more organic.

On a slight technical note, there were several points where you spelled griffon as griffin.

Overall, this was an entertaining read and I think you've got a great foundation upon which you can build a really compelling origin story for what has the potential to be a really fun superhero story that's an homage to many fantasy stories that have come before it. Nice work!
