Hi Incurable Romantic. Congrats on your approaching 25th Writing.Com Anniversary. I'm honored to be reviewing one of our earliest members.
I'm Ja-Ja-JINX, and I have the privilege of reading and reviewing your offering "A Really Great Quote X 2" . "Anniversary Reviews" has a special edition this month that allows participating reviewers to pick an item from any member who joined WDC within the first five years of the site's existence. Thank you for supporting WDC in those early years.
I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story.
Overall Impression. Though you first wrote this article in 2010, both quotes stand the test of time, and are particularly pertinent today. Were he alive today, Goethe would surely have voiced this thought ... and be suitably castigated by any number of powers that be.
Each day lately, I read about someone who quoted, either correctly or paraphrased, some reference to Charlie Kirk and got canned for their efforts. Society is really screwed up at present. While I do have to smile when I read them, I'm also sad that they are so correct.
Of course, as a student of history, pretty much any era has similar, if not the same problems.
I see the brilliance of Einstein was not relegated to his scientific pursuits. One thing society in general has going for it is a penchant to practice stupidity.
I would like to find that particular program that lists these daily quotes. I'm sure I could find something via Google. Perhaps after my reviewing is done.
Technical and Editorial Considerations. In this section I normally list those areas that relate specifically to the mechanics of your writing--punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc.
Though short, your article was very well written. I found no issues with any technical aspects of your article. Thank you for sharing.
My Rating. 5.0.
Thank you for sharing this offering. Please accept these comments as offered in friendship and support. They are but my humble opinion.
