A question about a project I'm currently working on.

Poll Question:
I'm currently working on a series of short stories where Ash is treated with more respect, battling on a similar level to Red.

My question involves Gen 2 and how we can revisit Kanto, battling the Gym Leaders with new teams.

However, Ash would've already gotten these badges. So would it make sense for him to battle them again?
