Another Chapter Closed

To open a new chapter you must first turn the page

I just stopped by to bid farewell
With one last glance around
And from this day I’ll truly say
That happiness abounds

For in the past you’ve kept me strong
Your heart break I’ve felt all too long
I travel now where I belong
To search for the tune of a different song

On this new day, my tearful thoughts
I move on from the pain you’ve wrought
I just stopped in to say goodbye
I can’t keep you around

As all good things must come to a halt
I place you deep within the vault
I close the door and lock with key
Your misery no more to see
I ‘m heading back towards sanity
