Can the lights of Heaven sometimes wait? |
The Northern Lights by E.C. Wesch I see within the Northern Lights A glorious Heavenly glow. Where halos glide through the night As I watch them from below. Angels float among the stars Twinkling there for me. Whispering softly in my heart Of things I can not see. They speak of Heaven's beauty, A world I can only guess Where billowy, cotton clouds Are where the Angels rest. I long to float up in the sky But I love this life I chose. Where I sit and tend my garden, And watch each miracle grow. Each blossom is such perfection, They'd be hard to leave behind. The laughter of the children They always ease my mind. So I ask for Your forgiveness, I know You'll understand. They need my strength to guide them, Instead of what You've planned. |
