Every Moment

A poem written for my little sister Wendy and her new beau Billy.

Have I found my soul-mate,
is it you, the one I hold dear?
Peace has settled around me
Ever since you’ve alighted here.

I can’t describe these feelings
surrounding me each and every day.
Or how you’ve become the center
balancing me each and every way.

Unimaginable is my life
With absence of you there.
I offer you my heart,
Entrust it in your care

My friend, my companion,
what I’m trying here to say,
is I love you every moment
of each and every day!
