Some Type of Band Thing

This just happens to be two different poems,but only parts of them.

From Jive Talkin' to "booty poppin' "
Ringer tee's and Levi jeans to hip huggers and tight sweaters
That was then and this is now

Beejees,Barry Manilow, Rolling Stones, and The Eagles
70s rockin' hard. Do the hand jive and go with the flow
Greenday,Clay Aiken,Dr. Dre, Fountains of Wayne
Too annoying and far too explicit for us to play.

Noise is far too catchy
Drills are so long our feet are achey
The clarinets are too loud
Trumpets not loud enough
8th grade's thinkin' band's pretty rough.

Jive Talkin's there, better as we play
Stacy's Mom, Ugh! Slaughtered like yesterdays drills
Its worse everyday !

Fight song's stayin' sunny
Mrs.Dempsey has a flower taped to her butt
Now that's funny ! ! !
