A type of puzzle poem that causes the reader to think about what the poem is about |
| From deep within the earth, A warm intoxicating mist appears; Damping the forest it envelops, Leaving behind a glittering dust, Only the gifted few comprehend, Leaving misunderstanding, time, and reason for the blind But in time more will see, only what the clerics see The flight of wings at early morning light, that clears the mist surrounding the world tight Is not just the gentle breeze from the mountains protecting us, But an old friend that for most of the time has never asked, for more than the freedom it seeks And has always given more than allowed To ponder the thoughts of our past; the first embers of fire to the Cure that comes from sights unseen We only have to thank God above And the misunderstood friend that is never seen, And always here. |
