Love doesn't blind, yet true love guides us all to heaven.

Your are my forever lover,
shield from darkness that would cover.
You created memories of flower fields
when our love grew great yields.
Naive to the world and loved it true,
I remember the sugarcane, do you?
We wrestled in them and fell asleep,
when we woke we felt alive and rested,
as if we dreamed heaven within our keep.
The greatest gift you gave me
was to be my strength and not a crutch,
to show me new worlds so I may truly see,
