A Broken Heart

I wrote this to help my friend after being hurt.

When you love someone so much
you've put everything on the line.
And that special someone throws you love away,
the tears start flowing,
your heart is breaking more and more,
your world seems to be crashing down.
But, you get up
and realize its not worth it.
You burn the pictures,
erase the memories
and move on.
But, deep down you know you'll never love the same.
Because, your heart is forever broken.
