the night life takes us all
the drugs the alcohol calls us
your sucked in to a world of excitment
you know its wrong but yet you cant stop
every day you wake up another year older
you become an outcast from friends and family
you chose this path
but today you choose to take another path
you have reached the fork in the road

god is there waiting to guide you
love of the ones you turned your back on
are there but you must earn it back again
you want everything to go back to the way
they were before you made that mistake
drugs are a harsh world
but the road to recovery is much longer
and much harsher then the road you took
too get there
you walk toward the light
and you are ingulfed in the love
this is were you belong

and here is were you will stay
you close your eyes
and when you open them
its all over, and the life that you want
is right in front of you
