A poem describing a person, carefree as a bird. |
Oh what bliss I feel inside; I echo birds that sing with pride. With no concern or need to hide; Joy uplifts feelings I so derive. For birds know not of sorrow or pain; Living life without a thought of gain. Free to roam uninhibited in the air; Free from bonds of worry and of care. To rest on soil or atop a tree; To partake or not with humanity; Birds cross over, beyond as well; Know not if thereafter they dwell. But while earthbound they ever do sing; Their joyous hymns, their voices ring. So like the birds that blissfully fly; I lift my sights up ever on high; As the minutes swiftly pass me by; Oh, what joyful tears I cry. |
