A song/poem written when my partner was going away travelling for 5 months.

Fly away, it’s safe to leave me.
Stay with me, I want you near me.
But we both know that you must go
So we can see who we might be.

So, fly away, explore yourself,
Enjoy yourself,
Find your answers.

Just trust in you and trust in me
We soon will see what’s meant to be

I love you so I know it’s safe to let you go away
I know you will return once more
to hold me in your arms again.

No matter what the future holds
However far away you are
You’ll always be close to me
Secure inside my heart.
