Good-Bye Letter

A good-bye letter that shows feelings and emotions.

Here I am to say good-bye,
And I need to let you know.
I waited here for you so long,
And now I let you go.

You said, "Forever", and so I stayed,
You never did reply.
I found that you had met another,
Now all I do is cry.

You begged me to wait and so I did,
I waited with my tears.
But you knew you would not return,
And let me wonder for years.

For you, I make this short and sweet,
Unlike you did for me.
I don't believe in hurting someone,
If I want to set them free.

Free again is what you are,
It's what you left me for.
Don't ever ask me to wait again,
Because I won't hurt no more.

It hurt this is true,
But I've cried my last cry.
My waiting is through,
Here's my good-bye.
