A captain goes down with his ship.

The captain loved his ship. The ship was sinking.

He tried to keep the water out but more kept coming.

“Come with us to the rescueboat!” the sailors shouted. “It’s too late to save the ship!”

“No,” the captain said “If my ship is going down, then I’m going down with it.”

He died happy.
