A Whisper in Darkness

There once was a whisper
A sound unexplained
In the search out of darkness
You heard it

Caging you into
A world full of screams
You searched for the way out
And found it

But not without trial
Your fleeting existence
Found solitude hiding
Then lost it

When thinking back to
That whisper in darkness
Why didn’t you listen,
And trust it?
