Through all the years,
the times we've shared,
I'm sure you know
how much I've cared.

When darkness draws
the light away,
I'll turn your night
into our day.

Lean hard on me,
I'm here for you.
My strength is yours
to help you through.

These troubled times
will soon be gone.
In this new year
we'll soldier on.

One things is sure.
I'm standing there,
right by your side.
Your pain, I'll share.

The love we have
will keep us strong
whether the road
be short or long.

And, when at last
we reach our goal,
once more you'll play
the leading role.
