School gates; welcoming or forceful?

Open school gates,
Open-wide arms,
Welcoming with systemised adoration
All who may implore education.

Yet we are thrown,
Or dragged by the collar,
Kicking and screaming like juveniles -
But that's what we are:

Pseudo-bibliophiles.
