The Heart That Aches

Dreams, hopes, now dashed
meaning more to me than it should.

Rumours circulated, optimistic faces,
Now what's left is nothing, But what have I lost?

Nothing, nor did I really gain,
Pain hits hard, feeling of sadness.

Tears, anger, frustration,
Why? There's plenty more out there.

Facing them once more, tough,
Keep strong, not allowed to crumble.

Don't give in to it
they´re not worth it.
