Love and betrayal

Its been a long hard road with you,
These memories stick to my heart like glue
You broke my heart
We were doomed from the start
In you I put my trust
Only to find my hopes shattered into dust
I don't know why you lied
My love for you has died
Although I wish you well
Meanwhile my life right now is a living hell
I want you to know for you I fought
And that my love cannot be bought
So with these final words I say
May love for you come another day.
