This is a poem about the duality of love |
| Love is like a midnight frieght train roaring towards you, in which you become enveloped, and then it passes you by. Unless you are a passenger who rides to get somewhere or because you have no where else to go. Love is completely unexpected-like death. Death is inevitable and unknown, as is love. Death can be liberating or agony, just like love. Love hits you in the face and delivers a blow to your heart, as does death. Love is the begining, not the end, as is death. Love is a warm breeze that blows upon your face, and as the wind does, love must also wane and blow full force. But you must be prepared-for the wind can knock you on your ass. And both can cut so deep you think you will never breath again. |
