A poem about the moon and me |
| The moon, the moon, the moon; I saw you tonight Not shrouded in silver, cold silver, beautiful silver, distant silver, but yellow or was it orange, It seemed you'd left your silk and velvets behind and your skin glowed naked, you skin glowed and emitted waves that warmed my soul I've been awestruck by you before, but i loved you today, for you seemed reachable. In the early hours of morning when the hills stand like dark giant guards against a dewy sky one look at you lifts me to a surreal world. Your milky light oozes through the cracks in me and makes my soul whole again. Be there when I need you, I know that i will Be there and I promise I'd always be faithful A smile I'd reserve for you and even in my darkest hour I won't shut my eyes to your healing presence. |
