The Rain

I sit on my porch.
In the rain,
at night.

Thoughtful
as always.
But actionless
some days.

Thinking about
what to do
instead of just sitting
here in the rain,
at night.

Creative
some days.
But bored
most days.

Not knowing
what to do
at night,
on a rainy day.

But just go outside
and sit on my porch
in the rain.
