This was written for my best friend who recently past away

Still have your cell number on my phone
makes me feel at times less alone

I expect my phone to ring
to hear your voice, how much comfort that would bring

One more chance to have a long conversation
then we could be honest and share our fears and explanation

It is honorable to want to protect those you love and care for
I believe that is just one thing about you to cherish more

Not a day went by you were not thought of
and it is a comfort knowing you were surrounded in love

So if you do not mind I will keep it a little while longer
until my thoughts are a bit stronger
