Wanting you back

An old poem I wrote

I cry each time I hear your voice,
I can't help it, it's not by choice.
My heart beats faster,
My knees get weak.
My breath gets shorter,
Where I can hardly breathe.
You are my world,
My one true love.
My life I'd give,
for just one hug.
I want you back,
What can I do?
To make you mine,
A dream come true.
You're all I think about,
day and night.
I don't want to go through,
one more fight.
I'm told to stop loving you,
But that's something I can't do.
I cry a little more each day,
Because I never got to say.
You're the best thing that's ever happen to me,
It's really hard for you to see.
There's a lock to my heart,
And you hold the key.
Let's make a new start,
Because we're meant to be.
Together forever,
You and me.
