The things we instinctively do aren't always right. 2nd Place, Amazing 55 Word Contest

Baby Meghan needed a serious operation.  James was broke and desperate. 

He took his gun down to the branch bank and demanded all the money.  The cashier refused, whereupon James

pulled the trigger. 

Nothing happened.

Impulsively, James turned the gun around, stared down the barrel, and pulled the trigger again.

This time it worked beautifully.
