This poem is about the wonder that is Nature |
| Nature At Its Best When the skies are azure and the clouds play by The wind is drunk and the peaks are white When the sunrise seems like a touch of warmth And winter seems like a distant thought When the lakes are mirrors of the fun filled clouds And the birds and bees nestle in the shrouds When the horses run wild in the prairies green And everywhere around only joy can be seen When the sheep are grazing in their own dull way And the day goes by without anything to say When the afternoon sun hits the skyward trees And all we feel is that cool sweet breeze When the lazy dew refuses to budge From the bed of leaves which to awake – just nudge When the young lamb flutters around its ma who bleats And tells it’s young to stand on its feet When the butterflies sing their song in color And the ladybirds dazzle, one more than the other When God smiles down and sighs in content Then I will say that my life is well spent |
