Everything has a soundtrack.
Everything is dramatic.
Man overboard! Drowning in facts,
Circling the drain with spin tactics:
Stocks fall with half-hearted applause;
Nothing rises to take its place.
Breaking news must give us all pause,
But what does it mean for the race?
Can anyone allay my fears?
I'd take a proud dive off the roof
Just to make all this crystal clear
And not to shine the devil's hoof.
Collapse, collapse, collapse, my dear!
There is nothing to fear but fear!
