A poem written in Rispetto Form about awakening to the truth |
| Awake my heart, as morning light at last comes streaming through and overcomes the dark Awaiting this moment, arise from past. On this fair day, be sure to leave a mark. Hold up your head, there’s no reason for shame. Righteousness and truth are now yours to claim. Alive again by the blood of the Son, there’s no more struggle; victory is won.
