In the beginning I had it all put together

My friends and I we would be with each other forever



Then we grew up, and found what was true

That the only one you can count on... is you



I lost what I loved, lost what was dear

And now... there is nothing here.





I learned my lesson

never trust anyone



Depend on yourself

never anyone else



I made the mistake once, thought they'd be there for me

But that's not how it was, the just left me be



When I needed them the most

When I thought we were so close



That's when I was abandoned

That's when it happened



When I was so cold

I came to realize
