This is a poem I wrote today in honor of my Savior, Jesus. |
| Another Christmas has come And we prepare for all the fun With feasting and stockings, And at our hearts You are knocking. At my parent's house this season We remember the true reason For our frolicking and praise On these special days. That a king would step down To be born in a small town, Among animals and hay In a rather smelly bay; That He would suffer and die For all the world's lies, To set us for Himself apart Oft softens my stone heart. So on this Christmas Eve Let us sing and let us receive The truest gift of God's grace, Written in the babe's precious face. |
