Desperation makes you yell
But only the silence replies
The darkness screams in your face
As black as the starless sky
Alone and covered in blood
The red stands out on the snow
Chilled to the bone without a rug
Not a single soul even knows
No noise when you realize you’re about to cry
No noise as the tears stream down
No movement when you realize you’re about to die
No movement as you slip away
Lying there so dismal
Wondering when it will end
Thinking of the messages
To your loved ones you would send
As the dreaded draws nearer
Like a never ending mime
Finally you’re gone
Forgotten in endless time
